... and then I got a second request from my first fan (wife, remember) who said 'Nice beginning ... In the meantime ... prepare "Mountain goat becoming aware of a nearby avalanche."' And so I present to you, in all its glory: Mountain Goat Becoming Aware of a Nearby Avalanche, the acronym of which has a cool kinda of goaty onomatopoeia to it, I might add.

Ooh, My First Fan
It may be cheating, but my first fan happens to be my wife. I told her the premise of this blog and she immediately replied with "be a snowflake." Here's me as a snowflake. Notice the whisper-quiet soundtrack... and mom's afghan.
(I'm toying with adding the rule -- children need structure, you know -- of "only one prop per character" for my videos.)

Luncheytime
For my first assignment, I've gone ahead and asked myself (this is because I don't have any fans yet) to create a video titled "Luncheytime." This also worked in my favour because I was hungry at the time. Lucky.
And hey look! One can embed videos in one's blog. There's no need for those silly links.

Hullo
Hullo. This is my video blog. I'm going to post videos acting out suggestions submitted by readers. This might be a horrible, horrible idea for a couple of reasons; but I'm sure I don't need to list them here as they will become very apparent if they end up being large factors in the success of my blog.
Anyhoo, here's a sample video and a test for my mad technical skillz as I try to link to my first youtube-hosted video entitled 'facetracking'.

After working through the youtube account creation and uploading, I realize that I'm not alone in posting a facetracking video as one of my first. No surprise.
